Product Details
Once again, just like the 2019 vintage, this enticing malbec knocks my socks off with its pronounced and tangy aromas of black peppercorn and incense, together with spicy, meaty and glossy character. Lots of exotic dried herbs, such as grilled thyme and rosemary, as well as fresh blackberries that extend to the polished, full-bodied palate that’s full of spicy, peppery verve. Almost a bit medicinal (think Chinese herbs), but in a pleasant, tangy way. The tannins are plush and tightly knit with a long, mealy finish. Impressive to drink now, but will hold, too [until 2030]. Our Wine Choice. Score – 95. (Zekun Shuai, jamessuckling.com, March 24, 2023)
