A luscious yet crunchy red with crushed berries, hibiscus, oyster shells and redcurrants. Tight and chalky tannins on the palate, closed and linear at the end. Very fine for the vintage. New wine from Cobos and giving a nod to the Hobbs family. Drink or hold. [This will cellar into the mid-2030s.] Score – 95. (jamessuckling.com, April 4, 2023)
