Roche de Bellene Chatenière Saint-Aubin 1er Cru 2020

This is a very complete, complex and intriguing chardonnay, with more power and depth than anticipated. The nose has very lifted toasted almond, nutmeg, ripe yellow pear and subtle herbal notes. It is full bodied, very firmly structured yet rich and generous at the same time. Real grip and intensity and excellent to outstanding length. Tasted March 2024. Score – 95.
