The Owl & The Dust Devil Remolinos Vineyard Malbec 2019

This is a selection of vines grown on sandy soils Decero’s vineyard in Alto Agrelo. Aged for 14 months in barrels (20% new oak), this is a red with a juicy and fruity expression of the variety, very much in the style of the new Agrelo malbecs, which usually have this profile of sour cherries and flowers. The body has firm tannins and friendly acidity in a red that’s both very well balanced and very juicy. Score – 92. (Patricio Tapia, guiadescorchados.cl, 2024)
