Lucien Le Moine Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru

Deep red. Impressively pristine, subtle aromas of black raspberry, cassis and minerals. Broad, sweet and supple but also bright and sharply delineated. Finishes very long, with ripe tannins, noteworthy vibrancy and terrific grip. Along with the Bonnes-Mares, this appears to be the wine of the cave in 2001. Score – 92-95.
