Lucien Le Moine Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru

(this wine fermented its sugars until July of 2002) Medium red. Liqueur-like aromas of raspberry and cherry, complemented by smoked meat and sexy oak. Sweet and lush, with sappy red berry liqueur flavors verging on exotic. In a succulent, easygoing style, especially for this grand cru, which can be deceptively lean in the early going.
