Like its partner, the Shiraz, the 2018 Jester Cabernet Sauvignon is a terrific value for current drinking. It’s less weighty than the Shiraz, appropriately medium-bodied, with fresh, leafy notes layered over cassis and cherry fruit and ending in a wash of softly dusty tannins. Drink date: 2019-2024.
