Domaine Darviot-Perrin La Bergerie Chassagne-Montrachet 2022

Made from centenarian vines. Pale in colour, very intense pure white fruit on the nose, little sign of the wood. A perfect expression of fruit in the mouth with a generosity, balanced ripeness, excellent acidity, all harmonious. Hard to do better from a single plot of Chassagne, as opposed to a harmonious cuvée ronde. Drink from 2028-2034. Score – 91-93. (Jasper Morris, MW, insideburgundy.com, Jan. 2024)
