What a fabulous nose – so immediate and perfumed but in no way cheap perfumed. Classic sour cherry jam infused with fresh tarragon, wood spice, violet and subtle ferrous minerality. A narrow, detailed nose in its way, then the palate explodes, awash with warmth, fruit, spice and herbs. An avalanche of flavour. Tannins remain firm. The length is outstanding.
