So much treacle tart to this red but then tons of florals such as jasmine, violets and then mulberries and hints of vanilla. Full body and a remarkably juicy and tangy center palate of forest fruits, which are ripe but run clean thanks to no shortage of refreshing acidity. Long and fruit-forward yet somehow minerally on the finish. A triumph! Perhaps the best nero d’avola blend ever made. Delicious now. [Drink: 2024-2030+] Score – 96. (jamessuckling.com, Oct. 20, 2017)
