Orin Swift Abstract 2021

Orin Swift specializes in huge, thick, jammy wines that still manage some finesse among their largesse. This blend is a thick compote of stewed black cherries, blackcurrant, dried figs, coffee bean and chocolate, with some celery/dill lift for good measure. Lots on the go here. It is full bodied, lush, dense., but balanced just well enough to warrant a second glass. The length is excellent. Tasted December 2023. Score – 91. (David Lawrason, winealign.com)
