Lagar de Codegua Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

This cabernet offers a very clear view of the variety at a very convenient price, especially when it comes to the Alto Cachapoal area at the foot of the Andes. There’s a strong herbal component here as well as ripe red fruits in a body with very good concentration and still-young tannins that could handle a couple more years of aging. This wine comes from vineyards planted on stony, alluvial soils around 1998. Score – 92. (Patricio Tapia, guiadescorchados.cl, 2021)
