Ballentine Reserve Zinfandel 2019

Composed of 96% Zinfandel, 3% Malbec and 1% Petit Verdot, the 2019 Zinfandel Reserve has a medium garnet-purple in color. It rolls effortlessly out of the glass with notes of stewed raspberries and cherries with hints of Chinese five spice and hoisin, plus touches of tobacco and dusty soil. The full-bodied palate is chock-full of spicy black and red berry flavors with a chewy texture and oodles of freshness, finishing long and lifted. Drink date: 2021-2029. Score – 92.
