Fabre buys grapes for this cabernet franc from the Alto Agrelo zone, about 1,100 meters above sea level and toward the beginning of the Andean foothills. It’s a 100% cabernet franc from 20-year-old vines planted on alluvial soils. It has herbal aromas that combine with ripe red fruits in a wine whose palate shows its claws, with firm and reactive tannins surrounded by flavors of juicy fruit. Score – 92.
