The ruby/plum-hued 2018 Pinot Noir Soberanes Vineyard is another rockingly good wine from this estate. Lots of caramelized cherries, redcurrants, dried herbs, and loamy soil notes give way to a medium to full-bodied, nicely balanced Pinot with integrated oak and awesome balance. Aged 14 months in 60% new French oak, this is another impressive wine from Patrick Krutz. Score – 94. (jebdunnuck.com, Jan. 27, 2021)
