Hints of bramble, cacao and anise lend spice to penetrating blackberry and blueberry here. Sourced from high-altitude granite soils, it’s a vibrant, freshly composed Syrah. Two years of maturation in oak barrels (50% new) accentuate its rounded mouthfeel and fine-grained, softly tannic finish. Should improve through 2037 and hold further. Score – 95. (Anna Lee C.
