Matured in 500L French puncheons (80% new). If you haven’t already guessed, Gary is the McPherson accountant. A fun title for a wine that enjoys some pretty schmick and expensive oak which is slurped up easily by this super-generous, ripe shiraz. Over-delivers for the price in deep, dark, sweet berries and plums, earth, dark chocolate, toasted spice and nicely integrated oak that brings warmth and immediate drinkability. Special Value.
