From lower on the slope with more clay in the soil above a layer of crinoidal limestone, this is perhaps the most classical of Bruno Clavelier’s village Vosnes. Deeper darker raspberry fruit with a little touch of garrigue, livelier and fresher behind, with slightly firmer tannins – but the balance between fruit, acid, and tannin is well judged. Score – 88-92. (Jasper Morris, MW, insideburgundy.com, Dec. 2018)
