Corcelettes Estate Mico Lot Series Syrah 2018

Notably smoky off the top, this is savoury, dense and dark syrah from the Similkameen, with licorice and dried violet character, scorched earth and burnt rubber, a real monolithic and intense expression. Tannins are abundant but ripe and slippery, while acids are firm and supportive. Length is excellent. I’d suggest cellaring this for another 2-4 years minimum for the raw energy to dissipate.
