Daou Seventeen Forty Reserve 2020

The 2020 Seventeen Forty Reserve, made from free-run juice, is a blend of 85% Cabernet Franc and 15% Merlot matured for 20 months in 70% new French oak. It takes time to unfold to scents of blackcurrants, truffle, thyme, charcuterie and flint. The medium-bodied palate is supple and rounded with restrained, earthy fruits and a long finish.
