Chateau St. Jean Cinq Cépages 2017

Beautiful blackberry, mushroom, bark and oak leaf. Some pine cone, too. Full-bodied, round and savory with layers of ripe fruit. Rather chunky wine, but nicely done. Drink after 2025 [into mid-2030s]. Score – 94. (jamessuckling.com, Jan. 14, 2022)
