Villa Poggio Salvi Pomona Brunello di Montalcino 2017

This is chewy and slightly austere with lots of tannins. The fruit is bright, though. Full-bodied with blueberry and mushroom character. Attractive, flavorful finish. Drink in 2023 [through mid 2030s.] Score – 92. (jamessuckling.com, Nov. 4, 2021)
