The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Gran Reserva Medalla Real includes 4% Petite Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc from Alto Jahuel, Maipo. The fruit-forward nose offers blueberry andblackberry notes with hints of black olive and pepper over a mild layer of oak. Indulgent inthe mouth, the juicy flow is supported by the polished Alto Maipo tannins. Ends with a prolix dark fruit finish. Drinking window: 2023-2036. Score – 91.
