Ostatu Gloria de Ostatu 2016

Revillas, the vineyard that supplies the grapes for this wine, was planted back in 1923 and the resulting Tempranillo shows the concentration that you’d expect. Earthy and grippy, with grippy tannins, well-handled new French oak, bramble and black cherry fruit and plenty of backbone and stuffing. Drink date: 2025-2035. Score – 94.
