Villa Poggio Salvi Caspagnolo Chianti Colli Senesi 2021

This wine is mostly Sangiovese with 10% Merlot, sourced from vines averaging between 10 and 20 years of age. Following some rain during the 2021 growing season, the lead up to harvest was dry and warm, producing wines with great intensity and depth, good balance and graceful structure. This example has plenty of dark fruit, spice and vanilla and has the potential to see 2030+.
