Deeper hued and also aromatized, here from Marlborough as a grippy, firm and intense 2019 from specialist Vidal Estate. In that musculature is a high-toned lift of fruit and acids in dual circulation, each affecting the other. Packed with punchy flavours from raspberry to plum, pepperoncino to pomegranate, Citrusy persimmon as well. Solid pinot noir in so many respects. Drink 2022-2026. Tasted November 2021. Score – 90.
