Chamisal Morrito Pinot Noir 2019

Dark aromas of roasted plum, nutmeg, mace and charred fennel make for a rich, heady nose on this top-end bottling from the historic regional producer. The palate is unabashed and hearty, with sharp sumac and sandalwood spice notes giving depth to the plum and mulberry core. It’s bold but well structured and driven by elegant fruits. Score – 94.
