Charles Baker Ivan Vineyard Riesling 2019

A terrific vintage for Baker’s Ivan Vineyard riesling, this [is] very probably the best yet. Intensity has been taken up a notch or two, and the finish is exceptional. It’s at least a year or two from prime drinking – tuck in the cellar until next year, or hold until towards the end of the decade. A particularly steely yet ample riesling. Tasted May 2020.
