Marchesi di Barolo Coste di Rose Barolo 2017

A lovely nose in the floral spectrum with red flowers and dried fruits. A generous mid-palate shows excellent freshness, with cherry stone fruits, earthy notes, tar, and liquorice. Long and fine. This is impressive. [Will drink through late 2030s.] Score – 97. (Decanter World Wine Awards, 2021)
