Howard Park Allingham Chardonnay 2018

Light to medium yellow colour. The bouquet is lightly-nutty, toasty and savoury, with almond and cashew nuances, while the palate is refined and soft, with superb silken texture. Exceptional length and palate balance. Superbly sustained flavour: a long, long carry. It’s already showing great complexity of character. Outstanding chardonnay. (From the Allingham vineyard, which is in a cool, south-facing site in the cool Karridale subregion). Drink date: 2019-2030.
