Domaine Cyrot-Buthiau Clos Rousseau Santenay 1er Cru 2020

This is aromatically similar to the Clos Roussots if perhaps just slightly more elegant. There is somewhat better volume to the succulent and ever more seductively textured medium-bodied flavors that possess a caressing mouthfeel while exhibiting good length on the mildly rustic, tangy and warm finale. Despite the hint of tangy warmth, this manages to work anyway. Drink: 2026+. Score – 89. (Allen Meadows, burghound.com, April 10, 2022)
