Carpineto Chianti Classico 2021

The nose is warm, sanguine and slightly herbaceous, with aromas of bing cherry, potting soil, orange peel and wild fennel leading the way. On the palate, a chocolate-vanilla swirl brings out sweeter cherry and orange flavors, which provide a playful balance to chalky, chewy tannins. Score – 90.
