Product Details
[For this wine] Alpamanta makes a selection of malbec from its property in the Ugarteche zone, from vineyards planted on alluvial soils from the Mendoza River in 2006. The wine was aged in 800-liter oak vessels for a year, and the result is a pure, juicy malbec full of fruity and floral flavors. The coolness of the season is clear in the character of the fruit, in the crunchy texture, and the acidity as the great driver in this juicy malbec with deep flavors to show off at a barbecue. This is the best wine we at Descorchados have tasted from Alpamanta, the logical tip of the pyramid of a winery with one of the most daring portfolios in South America today. Score – 96.
