A spicier and more floral-inflected nose is also more deeply pitched with its aromas of plum and dark currant. The tension-filled yet caressing medium weight flavors possess better density and excellent minerality which adds a sense of lift to the lingering and moderately austere finish that is supported by very bright acidity that stops short of being drying though there is a certain leanness all the same. This needs a few years of bottle aging in the hopes that it will flesh out, which it will need to do to achieve the upper end of my projected range. Drink: 2031+. Score – 89-92.
