Alta-Yarí Reserva Malbec 2020

This is from a selection of vineyards growing at altitudes of 1,380 to 1,450 meters, whose grapes ripen early. They also only selected from rocky, calcareous soils. What they’re looking for is a less herbal profile with generous fruit, always within the context of vineyards in that zone of Gualtallary. This is a very floral malbec that is also generous in tart black fruits, a red with tremendous acidity and tannic tension. Score – 94. (Patricio Tapia, guiadescorchados.cl, 2022)
