Boschendal Heritage Collection Black Angus 2019

Black Angus is a Helderberg cuvée of Syrah with 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec, aged in 40% new barrels and older foudres. Firm and assertive, with lots of coffee bean and vanilla oak, cassis, bramble and black cherry fruit and a spine of tannin and acidity. Drink date: 2023-2029. Score – 91.
