Château de Chantegrive 2022

Seriously tannic, they fill the mouth but have the most gorgeous crushed stone, powdery, chalky, grape skin texture, nothing harsh but just full. Th etannins stop the vibrancy a little, covering up some of the fruit forwardness but this just feels cool and collected. I look forward to tasting in bottle. Blackcurrant, liquorice, dark chocolate, spice and a real kick of power. Good potential, but serious. HVE certified. Drinking window: 2025-2039. (Georgina Hindle,decanter.com)
