Château Peymouton 2021

The 2021 Peymouton (part of the JP Moueix portfolio) has an attractive raspberry and wild strawberry nose, the Cabernet component imparting light pencil box scents. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, grainy tannins, and lightly spiced, revealing a tang of black pepper toward the finely proportioned finish. Worth seeking out. Drinking window: 2026-2036.
