Product Details
This has a very convincing nose, very Médocian in style, with spiced and slightly macerated red plum fruit, with a dusty freshness. The palate feels fresh, full, plump, rather perfumed, perhaps slightly juicy in style, and it is brimming with peony, rose petal, grilled cherry, praline and vanilla. A long and well-focused seam of tannins in the finish feel tightly knit, and around these revolve the wine’s peppered fruit. With a nice length too, this wine feels like a fairly smart bet for the cellar. Score – 94. (Chris Kissack, thewinedoctor.com, undated)
