Domaine Chauveau La Charmette Pouilly Fumé 2011

Classic Old World Sauvignon Blanc that’s pure lemon light and crispness. Not much oak evident here; great mouth-watering juiciness for food. Not grassy, just refreshing and focused … classic with great finesse and length. Pair with: Asian pork tenderloin, asparagus and sugar snap pea soup, chanterelle mushroom stuffed chicken breast, potatoes au gratin, curry dusted scallops. Drink: 2012-2015. Score – 91.
