Domaine des Chanssaud d’Antan Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2016

Considerably better than the regular bottling, the 2016 Chateauneuf du Pape Chanssaud d’Antan shows hints of oak aging in its scents of almond paste. Raspberries cascade over the rich, full-bodied palate before finishing bright, fresh and zesty. It’s a bit edgy and tannic, so hold it for a couple of years and then drink it over the next decade.
