Fabrizio Dionisio Il Castagno Syrah 2020

The 2020 Syrah Il Castagno is the best wine I have ever tasted here. Specifically, I admire how the 2020 melds together power with finesse. As always, Dionisio’s Syrahs are distinctly Tuscan – they won’t and can’t be taken for wines from anywhere else. Dark-toned fruit, earthiness, licorice, leather and spice fill out the layers effortlessly. What a gorgeous wine this is. Drinking window: 2025-2035. Score – 97.
