Kilikanoon Mort’s Block Watervale Riesling 2023

Consistently one of the best Rieslings from the Clare Valley, this comes from a low-yielding block in the Watervale subregion. It displays those crisp lemon rind and spicy characters of Riesling with lifted floral notes. The palate shows a degree of tension as it pushes through to a very long finish. Love that crisp mouthwatering crunchy acidity that finishes on a mineral note. Has the fruit and the structure to support cellaring. Drink by: 2024-2036. Score – 94.
