Koyle Royale Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

For its Royale line, Koyle selects vines growing higher up on the hillside, with soils that are rockier and have less clay than the vineyards that supply the grapes for Cuvée Los Lingues, for example. That poor soil and the cold 2016 vintage shaped a nervy cabernet with lots of tart red fruit and an especially firm, severe tannic structure. (Patricio Tapia,guiadescorchados.cl,2019)
