Beautiful vibrant colour in the glass with a pink rim. So fragrant with rose petals and red cherries – smells pristine, really clear and clean. Smooth and sappy with lovely succulence straight away and mouthwatering acidity. This is delicious, tastes like grape juice with grippy tannins and a chalky, graphite finish. Crunchy, delicate yet super flavourful, crisp with high acidity and lovely Cabernet freshness plus mint, aniseed and clove spice. Strength is there. A yield of 30hl/ha. New cellar with more precise plot selection. Small crop but good quality. Earliest ever Merlot harvest on 4 September, Cabernets picked 14-18th.
