This too is relatively restrained though the fruit is slightly riper with its notes of cassis, black cherry and poached plum. There is fine volume to the succulent and seductively textured flavors that coat the palate with dry extract that buffer the firm but finer tannins shaping the impressively long finish. This isn’t quite as dense as the Platière, but the balance is slightly better. Drink: 2030+. Outstanding. Score – 90-93. (Allen Meadows, burghound.com, April 10, 2020)
