Poderi Aldo Conterno Romirasco Barolo 2020

This version is ethereal and aerial despite its tension, dense tannins and oak spice aromas and flavors. A peppery red, offering notes of both black pepper and peppery greens, with a core of strawberry, cherry and rose. There’s a beam of acidity driving this and extending the finish, with fruit, mineral and spice echoes. Shows superb potential. Best from 2028 through 2048. Collectible. Score – 97.
