Poggio al Tesoro Sondraia Bolgheri Superiore 2020

Blackcurrants, violets, pine needles, bark, and dark chocolate. Medium- to full-bodied with refined and polished tannins and a long and beautiful finish. The finish is fantastic with a crunchy character and hints of dark chocolate. Best after 2025 but already a joy to taste. Score – 97. (jamessuckling.com, Nov. 28, 2023)
