Aromas of sunbaked soil, ripe plum, dark spice, chopped herb and a whiff of new leather lead the nose. The smooth full-bodied palate delivers juicy black cherry, mint, licorice and a hint of coffee alongside big, chewy tannins. Drink through 2021. Score – 92.
