Castello Fonterutoli Gran Selezione Chianti Classico 2019

Top Chianti Classico with crushed dark cherries, rose petals and hints of cedar on both the nose and palate. Medium-to full-bodied and very structured with lots of tannins. Needs time to soften. Try after 2024 [through mid-to-late 2030s]. Score – 95. (jamessuckling.com, July 4, 2022)
